Foodshare

As of 17th March 2020 until further notice.

FOODSHARE COLLECTIONS

Jubilee Foodshare is still open on Fridays 11:30am – 1:00pm.
If you are in receipt of a Foodshare voucher our volunteer team look forward to meeting you on a Friday morning, when they will issue sets of food and vouchers for fruit/vegetables.

In order to minimize the risks posed by Coronavirus we will be asking everyone to practice social distancing to protect one another and we are therefore asking that clients collect food and then depart as soon as practicable.
Our volunteer team regret we won’t be serving coffee & cakes at the present time, as we had previously, again to minimize risks.

FOODSHARE DONATIONS

We are continuing to accept donations during the week as it is very much appreciated at this time.
If you would like to donate, donations of tinned items including spaghetti, tomatoes, tuna and fruit, cereals (particularly for children), UHT milk, biscuits, cooking sauces, packs of rice or pasta are always welcome.
If you are visiting a supermarket anyway that provides a Foodshare donation facility this may be as convenient and prevent an unnecessary trip.

Thank you everyone.

Jubilee Community Church is involved with Foodshare the Maidenhead Foodbank, who provide food, including fresh food and fruit & vegetables, to individuals and families who are unable to afford a proper meal every day for themselves or their children. Their primary focus is on providing nutritious food. They aim to provide a minimum of 3 days of food, more if they have stocks.

Since January 2012 our volunteer team has given out over 20,000 bags of food to individuals and families! Thank you for all your donations!
